Stretched vs Native
Stretched widens a 4:3 image to fill a 16:9 screen — bigger targets but slight distortion; the FOV degrees stay the same. Native 16:9 has no distortion and a wider view. Black bars match native 4:3 with side bars only.
CS2 uses 90° horizontal FOV at 4:3 as baseline. Widescreen (16:9) shows more horizontal view but less vertical FOV. 4:3 stretched mode keeps the same horizontal FOV but stretches the image.
